Modern Slavery Awareness
ergonomicoffice Pty Limited supports ethical sourcing, responsible procurement and fair treatment of all workers throughout the supply chain.
We recognise that modern slavery can occur in many forms including forced labour, debt bondage, trafficking, exploitation, unsafe working conditions or the restriction of basic human freedoms.
While ergonomicoffice does not own or operate manufacturing facilities we take reasonable steps to promote responsible practices among our suppliers and service partners.
Our approach includes:
-
Encouraging all suppliers to remain vigilant against modern slavery, forced labour and labour exploitation in their own operations and supply chains.
-
Promoting fair, lawful, and safe working conditions including respect for wages, working hours and voluntary paid employment.
-
Requesting suppliers to maintain transparent sourcing practices including awareness of high-risk regions or materials.
-
Expecting suppliers to comply with applicable labour laws, the Australian Modern Slavery Act (where relevant) and common international human rights standards.
-
Taking reasonable action where concerns are raised, including seeking clarification, requesting remediation steps or, where necessary, reconsidering supplier relationships.
ergonomicoffice continues to improve awareness internally and within our supply network. We encourage all staff, contractors and suppliers to report any concerns or suspected risks relating to labour exploitation, unethical employment practices or modern slavery.
If any supplier becomes aware of an actual or potential risk, they are expected to notify ergonomicoffice promptly so appropriate steps can be taken.
