DUO Comfort™ is a dual-density, posture-supportive ergonomic chair range designed to promote stable pelvic positioning and maintenance of the spine’s natural “S” curve during prolonged seated work.

How does DUO Comfort™ support pelvic alignment?

At the core of the design is the Posture-Supportive Dual Density Split Cushion Seat.

This split-seat geometry assists balanced pelvic positioning and reduces localised pressure

concentration. By stabilising the pelvis, the chair supports lumbar congruence and upright alignment.

Why is dual-density seating effective?

Dual-density seating work because it manages load distribution while supporting pelvic stability.

In a split dual-density design, the rear soft section of the seat incorporates softer cushioning to

accommodate load beneath the pelvis, particularly around the ischial region. The front section is

firmer and works in coordination with the backrest to gently stabilise the pelvis  - supported and 

held between the firmer front seat cushion and the the lower backrest.

This coordinated seat -back interaction assists maintenance of the spine’s natural “S” curve by:

• Reducing posterior pelvic rotation into a slumped “C” posture

• Encouraging upright lumbar congruence

• Distributing load without reliance on excessive softness
