EVO Multi Posture Chair
One Chair - Multiple Ways to Sit
The EVO Multi Posture Chair is designed for users who prefer to change sitting position throughout the day rather than remain in one conventional forward-facing posture.
Its open, adaptable seating form supports a wider range of seated positions, making EVO particularly suitable for flexible, creative and movement-oriented work environments.

EVO is a movement-focused, multi-posture chair designed for people who do not want to remain in one seated position throughout the working day.
Sit conventionally, perch, lean, reverse the chair for forearm support, or lower the seat into an alternative supported posture. EVO’s distinctive multi-function backrest can become a back support, arm/forearm support or knee support, allowing the chair to change with the task rather than asking the user to stay fixed in one position.
It is a useful expression of an important ergonomic principle: there is no need to search for one perfect posture all day — changing posture and moving regularly matters too.

Problem to Solve
Traditional office chairs are generally designed around one principal position: facing forward, feet on the floor and back against the backrest.
That position can be appropriate, but remaining in any one posture for prolonged periods can become uncomfortable.
The EVO Multi Posture Chair takes a different approach.
Its seating geometry is intended to accommodate different ways of sitting and frequent position changes, allowing the user to respond to the task rather than continually returning to one prescribed posture.
The objective is not to find one perfect sitting position.
It is to make changing position easier and more natural.
S E A T™ — Primary
Support · Elevation · Angles · Tilt
The EVO supports S E A T™ through:
- adaptable seated support
- freedom to reposition the pelvis and legs
- alternative sitting orientations
- movement between more upright and relaxed positions
- a less restrictive seating format than a conventional task chair
The chair should still be selected and adjusted according to the individual user and the work being performed.
S P A S™ — Primary
Sit · Perch · Active · Stand
The EVO fits naturally within S P A S™ because its purpose is posture variation.
It can provide another option within a working sequence such as:
Sit → Reposition → Active Sit → Perch → Stand → Move
rather than treating sitting as one fixed state.
The value of EVO is not that every possible posture is “ergonomically correct”; it is that the chair makes variation and movement easier to introduce throughout the day.
